What I really love is trying to capture the hidden world that our eyes seem designed to blot out or reinterpret the reflections, textures, shadows and plays of light that give
the tantalising feeling of another place just beyond reach.
Some of my photographs focus on the bizarre sand worlds that appear at low tide. Catchment basins of rivers and deltas, landscapes of dunes and mountain ranges emerge, some looking
like fossilised trees or satellite pictures of Mars.
